In 1425, the Ming Renzong Emperor ordered his court scholars to compile this book of cosmological and divining knowledge.
Renzong personally appended the preface and awarded copies of the book to his ministers. The book has exceptionally colorful
illustrations on top and text below; the text contains divination interpretations from all the major Chinese historical works.
