這次展出 Edwin Heim 獨特的小品，數量雖然不多，但色彩與造型簡明流暢，略帶幾分東方趣味，如一首小詩，在不同光線、角度下，隨著拍板似的節奏起伏變化。其簡易的折、摺、捲、縫方法，可啟發觀者靈感、親手製作的興趣。

於瑞士學得手工書裝幀技術。
並曾在瑞士Ascona Scuola d' arte per legatori artistici、丹麥O. Olsen in Copenhagen，進行研習。
於法國巴黎École Estienne研究，師事R. Mondage 與 J. Knoll
於美國費城、波士頓與東漢普頓進行實務研究。

經歷
1971 – 1983: Head of a hand bookbindery in Ascona,¬
1984 – 2010: Head of the department of "Bookbinding and Design" at the school " Centro del bel libro Ascona"
Since 2010: Self-employed, freelance artist

Since 1974: Engaged as an active member of the international Federation "Master in artistic bookbinding" (MdE)
Founding member of the creative group "Buch und Form"
Member of jury at different international bookbinding competitions
