Innovating Library Services: Harnessing Human–AI Collaboration for the Future

The National Central Library (NCL) of Taiwan is now accepting online applications for the 2026 International Seminar for East Asian Library Professional Librarians, to be held February 2–4, 2026, in Taipei, Taiwan.

This biennial international seminar, established in 2009, aims to promote academic exchange and professional dialogue among East Asian libraries and Chinese Studies institutions worldwide. The 2026 seminar will focus on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in library services and explore innovative models of human–AI collaboration in research support, digital resource management, and user services.

• Participation is limited to 20 participants.

• The National Central Library reserves the right to conduct the final review and selection of all applications.

• The online application deadline is January 5, 2026 (Taiwan Time).

• Applicants who are successfully selected will receive an official Letter of Acceptance from the National Central Library after the review process is completed.
